How soon will I get my order?

We know you'll be keen to get your order as quickly as possible.  Orders are typically shipped within 1-2 business days depending on stock availability.  If there is likely to be any delay in dispatch, we will let you know via email.  Fortunately that doesn't happen often. How long your order takes to reach the address you provide for delivery will depend on how far away from Melbourne it is.  All orders are dispatched from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

When looking for emails about your order, remember to also check your email spam folder in case our order related communications have done there, or whitelist the daintreeestates.com domain in your email software.

 

PO Boxes

Yes, we deliver non-trade orders to PO Boxes and Lockers.  Trade orders require a physical street address.

 

Do you deliver to other countries outside Australia?

Yes, but not all.  Some countries (including USA) have onerous restrictions or requirements for importing chocolate and cocoa products, and it's not possible for us to meet those requirements for retail orders.  If your country is not available in the shipping calculator at checkout, then we're unable to deliver to your country, and we're really sorry for any disappointment caused.

If you are interested in a trade order outside of Australia, please contact us with details of what you're after and we'll let you know whether it's possible or not.

 

What if I'm not home for the delivery?

If you're expecting a delivery and have to go out, we recommend leaving a small note on your front door to instruct the courier where they can securely leave your order in the shade.  It's important you do not allow chocolate to be left unattended in direct sun as it may melt.  Whilst we mark chocolate orders with a warning to avoid direct sunlight, we're unable to control individual delivery drivers and although most do pay attention, unfortunately we cannot guarantee they always will.

Trade order deliveries

If you require delivery to a specific area of your premises such as a loading dock, please provide clear instructions on how to find it so we can pass them to the delivery driver.  If you only accept deliveries within certain times or on certain days, it is vital that you inform us of these days and times so we can schedule the dispatch and provide instructions to the delivery driver.  A phone number of the person responsible for receiving the delivery must be provided with every order, so the driver can call you if they're unsure where to go, or there are any issues with delivering within the times you specify. 

Where a consignment has to be redelivered due to missing or poor instructions or an inability to contact the phone number we're provided with, we will pass on any redelivery charges to you.  By ordering, you agree to these terms.
