Trading Terms

Our trading terms are written in plain English and not intended to be boring or irrelevant. The fact that you do not take the time to read them does not release you from your obligations under these terms and conditions. By ordering through this website, you are declaring that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please raise them with us prior to placing your order. Thank you.

Copyright
All images throughout this website are protected by copyright and except for personal non-commercial use may not be copied without prior written permission. Original images may be requested for specific uses by emailing us here.

Purchases
All orders placed through this website are final. Orders are not received by us until your payment has been made via PayPal. Please provide a daytime phone number in the checkout instructions so the courier can contact you directly if they have any problems delivering your order. Orders from addresses outside Australia will be refunded in full and nothing supplied. Overseas ordering will be announced in the future.

Trade Ordering
Retail and foodservice businesses and chocolate product makers may order directly via email only. Please email trade@daintreeestates.com with a description of your business to request trade pricing. If you wish to open a trade credit account, please register your interest here and one of our friendly sales managers will contact you to discuss your requirements.

Stock Runout
In the event of stock being exhausted, Daintree Cocoa Pty Ltd reserves the right to supply ordered product/s to the earliest paying customer/s (verified by the date and time of successful PayPal transactions). All subsequent payments will be refunded in full (including overseas shipping charges) or placed on backorder with the customer's consent.

Transaction Provider
All transactions are processed through PayPal and are conducted subject to PayPal's terms and conditions. Daintree Cocoa Pty Ltd accepts no liability for non-completion of any transaction due to PayPal faults, internet connectivity problems or PayPal policy changes and is under no obligation to dispatch goods until full payment has been received in any event.

Shipping
Shipping is free for all Trade orders above $500 within Australia. All orders will be shipped via our national courier partner/s or Australia Post at our discretion. If you have a preference, please let us know at the time of order, however we may pass on any additional costs if your requested shipping method is more expensive. Orders are typically dispatched within 3-4 business days of cleared payment being received (often quicker). Please provide a daytime phone number in the checkout instructions so the courier can contact you directly if they have any problems delivering your order.

Refunds
As chocolate is a food product, it cannot generally be returned or refunded. However if there is a fault or defect with the product you have received, please email us and explain the problem. Of course we will address all problems in good faith to ensure that you get the Daintree Estates quality experience.

GST
Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 10% is included in all prices shown on this site as required under Australian taxation law. Purchases delivered to addresses outside Australia within 60 days of ordering are exempt from paying GST under Australian taxation laws. Daintree Cocoa Pty Ltd makes no warranty that any application for reimbursement of GST will be successful and can accept no liability for this. All trade orders will be issued a tax invoice.

Changes to Terms & Conditions
Daintree Cocoa Pty Ltd reserves the right to vary these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. All sales are deemed subject to the Terms and Conditions in place at the time of the sale.

Applicable Laws
All dealings with Daintree Cocoa Pty Ltd will be subject to and interpreted under governing laws in the state of Victoria, Australia.
