In the beginning...

It began with an idea - to grow cocoa in Australia and make quality chocolate from it. Sounds simple enough, but there were a lot of challenges and barriers to that happening, but finally in late 2011, Daintree Estates Australian chocolate was launched to the world.

In mid 2012, ABC Landline ran a feature on Australia's newest industry - cocoa growing and processing. Here's a trip down memory lane...
